MEET OUR TRAINERS

BRANDY LOWNES
After 5 years in the Army, I knew I wanted to work in health and wellness, and I found that empowering individuals to achieve their fitness goals and transform thier lives was something I was truly passionate about. The best thing about training and being an instructor is seeing individuals not only get stronger, but have fun and get their endorphins going!
Through a holistic approach that integrates exercise, nutrition, and mindset coaching, I try to inspire lifestyle changes in creative and fun ways. Seeing the rush my clients feel after a fun & challenging workout boosts not just their endorphins, but mine as well, which is what makes my job as a personal trainer AWESOME!

CRYSTA LAWYER
I’ve been working professionally as a certified personal trainer since 2018.
As a personal trainer my goals are to meet folks where they are but at the same time encourage them to go further than they thought they were capable. I have a genuine desire to help and empower others to reach their goals and aspirations.

ELLEN GOLD
My goal as a trainer is to provide a positive and rewarding experience for each person I work with. I understand the first step of walking into the gym can be intimidating. I welcome you and look forward to celebrating your future achievements. Your health and wellness journey can be a fun and fulfilling experience! I love the moment a someone recognizes their abilities! It is exciting to watch a client achieve their goals and gain confidence in their ability to make positive changes in their lifestyle.
I particularly enjoy training women who are experiencing changes related to menopause. This can be a challenging time and a difficult road to navigate. By gaining an understanding of a client’s current fitness level, motivation, and goals, I am able to create personalized training plans that produce the desired outcomes and results.

JANET ESTERKES
I have been body building for over 25 years, competing since 2007, and training competitors since 2011. In 2013 I won my bodybuilding pro card with the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation, (WNBF) and co-founded and opened The Training Station, LLC and The Diet Doc in Danvers, MA; a personal and small group training studio offering nutrition.
For over 10 years, I have enjoyed working with clients of all levels, men, women and competitive athletes. I specialize in Health and Wellness, helping people achieve their goals through better nutrition and exercise. In April of 2018, I decided to close my training studio and focus more on helping people change their health and wellness through better nutrition practices. I joined forces with In8 Wellness and Fitness Center, where I helped an already amazing team of health professionals enhance their client’s wellness experience by offering Nutrition and Wellness Coaching.
In May of 2022, I moved to Prosperity, SC where I found Sozo. I have been training clients at Sozo since November of 2022.

KRISTEN ROE
After 10 years working as an athletic trainer at the collegiate level, I shifted gears and became a personal trainer and multi sport coach. For the past 25 years I have been helping people achieve their goals and leading them down the paths to a healthier lifestyle. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing a client gain confidence and strength.

As a fitness professional, my goal is to help others achieve their health and fitness goals to enjoy a better quality of life. I’ve always cared about good health and longevity, and I love encouraging others in their fitness journey. I know firsthand how a regular exercise program combined with good nutrition can increase energy levels and mobility at any age. It’s never too late to start, or to start over! I especially love helping others increase core strength, balance, and build muscle.

I enjoy helping clients find fun in fitness. I discovered Pilates in 1995 after my last pregnancy. I was amazed how quickly the transformation my mind and body made after being consistent with Pilates. I decided to turn my love for working out into teaching. I trained in Stott Pilates in 2008. Then in 2011, I had an opportunity to train under Tracy Mallett creator of Booty Barre in Pasadena. I have struggled with weight my whole life. Fitness has transformed my life in so many ways and I'm so passionate about helping others to find that same spark.

QUINCY SUBER
After losing my mother-in-law in 2019 and mother in 2020, both to cancer, I became very depressed, which caused me to gain weight. I called the gym to cancel my membership and the owner asked if I could come in to talk. During our conversation, she encouraged me to lead by example for my family. My family looks up to me. When they see that I am taking my health seriously, they will want to do the same. This conversation not only placed me on my current path but has changed the lives of my family as well.

I chose to become a personal trainer because I want to continue leading by example. I want to help people take care of themselves by prioritizing their health and fitness. I want to inspire others to achieve their goals while knowing they are supported.

With over 30 years in the fitness and wellness industry (first certified in 1995), I bring both experience and passion to helping others improve their lives. From managing a fitness center in NYC to owning an in-home personal training business, I always do my best to make health goals achievable, motivating and enjoyable. With a degree in Exercise Science from UConn and advanced certifications from the NSCA, NASM and ACE, I’m committed to staying sharp and finding better, more effective ways to help others succeed. Although I’ve had the good fortune of training a number of professional athletes in multiple sports and a couple of national champions and Olympic hopefuls, I feel the most blessed to have played a role in helping my everyday clients exceed their own expectations in weight loss, injury recovery, the alleviation of pain, athletic performance, and overall wellness.

lindsey day
I first gained an interest for fitness in high school when we began weightlifting for soccer. I remember how instantly invested I became in learning more about exercise and health. Since then, I have learned that being healthy includes far more than just exercise, and have adopted a more holistic approach to training.
I believe exercise is a blessing and shouldn’t become something you dread. I want to give each client the tools they need to succeed so they can be confident in their own individual abilities. One of my favorite parts of training is seeing the growth in people when they invest in their health and become stronger, happier, and healthier.

ROB STEWERT
The thing I love most about training is having the ability to push clients through the limitations they thought they could never push past. My goal for every client is to break the feeling of being uncomfortable in the gym and turn that into a desire/craving to be in the gym and choosing the healthy lifestyle they want to have.

RON DAVIS
There are several things in life I love. First is God and for all his blessings he has blessed me with. Those include passions for martial arts and fitness. I am a level 2 instructor in the DDPY fitness program and love sharing ways for people to stretch and strengthen. I have a 7th degree black belt in Shito ryu. I am also a certified personal trainer through NASM and certified in Blood Flow Restriction Training.
I want to help people to not only be healthier through exercise and nutrition but to be able to move without pain or discomfort. I love being able to share these passions with others and try to make it a fun experience. A workout is a reward of what you can do not a punishment of what you have done.
